Within the Tides: Tales

Description of the book

"Within the Tides: Tales" by Joseph Conrad is a collection of four short stories. All four are centered around the sea, though none actually elaborate tales that make it out onto the water. Ranging from Southeast Asia to London and to Spain, they illustrate some of Conrad's most recurrent themes from love to the illusions people present of themselves. It contains: The Planter of Malata, The Partner, The Inn of the Two Witches, and Because of the Dollars.
