The Trespasser

The Trespasser

Description of the book

"The Trespasser" by D. H. Lawrence tells the story of Siegmund, a married man with children, and his adulterous affair with Helena. This torrid and adulterous tale takes place on the exotic Isle of Wight, which allowed readers a chance to dive into a world they otherwise wouldn't dream of humoring. To write this book, Lawrence drew upon the experiences of a friend of Lawrence, Helen Corke, and her adulterous relationship with a married man that ended with his suicide.
