He he... okay... So this has been a book that I absolutely wanted to read. Because in theory it had checked all the boxes: cozy romance, grumpy- sunshine, autumn vibes and the most important.... book club and cafe..like come on.. Have been a little dissapointed, something didn't quite clicked for me. Yes, the couple is cute, yes, it was exciting they had a book club, there was a bit of mystery trying to figure out what's going on with all the misshaps at the cafe.... but all in all wasn't that exciting. Not saying I didn't like it, I just... wanted something else? More? Maybe all the fuss about it built my hopes up to much and the book didn't quite deliver to that level?

I did really like this book and it give off some gilmore girl vibes with luke/loreali however the narrator sounded very robotic which I found really hard to listen to!

Don't have any qualms with the narrator and suspect those complaining are just being ageist. It's repetitive which does get very annoying and it's not got the witty dialogue of Gilmore Girls I was hoping for. Nothing really happened but I liked that. Definitely not my usual book (as a bed bound queer person) but it was a cosy way to make the hours go by for sure.
