'A Little Girl in Old Philadelphia' is an adventure novel written by Amanda M. Douglas. She was telling Primrose to clean up and go to the kitchen, and mentions that the housekeeper for Primrose's other aunt is in the next room and that they will be going to town soon. Primrose is worried about getting punished, and clings to her aunt Lois before being released.
