"Judith Paris" by Hugh Walpole is a novel set against the backdrop of the French Revolution in Paris as well as in Cumbria. The tale follows Judith, a headstrong and, at times, impetuous woman who manages to draw the attention of two men from very different walks of life. One, a sweet and affectionate man named Reuben, and one much more willful and defiant named Georges. These two men may be vying for her attention, but only one can truly win her heart.
