A Few More Verses

Description of the book

'A Few More Verses' is a collection of poems written by Susan Coolidge, a pseudonym used by Sarah Chauncey Woolsey. She was an American children's author best known for her classic children's novel 'What Katy Did'. The current volume of work, however, is a departure from her usual style, with poems that are intended for a more mature audience, featuring titles such as 'Comforted', 'Words', 'An Easter Song', 'Miracle', 'Ends and Means', and 'The Vision and the Summons'.
